Can the anvil be powered with bypassing the charger?

Hi,

I was wondering if there where a way to power this from a secondary source, without hurting the charging system?

Yes, although this action will void your warrenty and we don't recommend it - the GR-1 can be powered by a 20-25V external power supply capable of supplying current of at least 30 Amps. Please be sure to connect the power with the same +/- orientation as a battery would be. If power is connected with reverse polarity it will brick the gun.
